MissionTo create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international cooperation.
History The club was formed in November 27, 1945. There were 65 charter members. Marion and Converse Lions were the sponsoring clubs. Charter Night was January 9, 1946 with a banquet and program held at the Community Hall. The club started meeting on second and fourth Wednesdays but was changed to first and third Thursday after a few months and that still stands |
